IN/OUT
Genevieve Reynolds and Jared Worthington
10th September - 13th September

IN/OUT brings together two solo exhibitions by Genevieve Reynolds and Jared Worthington.

In Genevieve Reynolds' paintings, overlapping layers of translucent colour obscure and reveal earlier compositions, forming tunnels leading into the work's history. The resulting forms protrude and recede, oscillating between reading as objects or holes.

Jared Worthington's video plays on the medium's associations with the psyche, as an obtuse narrative suggests the replaying of memories and the forming of mental images. In a separate body of photographic prints, Worthington digitally constructs and manipulates images. These works are broad in scope and include formal explorations of optics, illusion and the attribution of visual meaning.
